THREE HIKING SISTERS, we love to hike together, but we don't all live in the same state. Sometimes it is only two of us, and sometimes we hike with others. This is a record of some of our hikes.

McCormick Woods
We returned to walk more of the trails in McCormick Woods Trails in Port Orchard. We started at the trailhead by McCormick Village Park and walked all the way down and around Big Pond, coming out at Deer Park, then walking about 1/2 mile along the road to reenter the trails at Telford Way Southwest (this allowed us to loop around Big Pond and shorted the route), 6.5 miles. Very nice place to walk on a cloudy day, only saw to other people on the trail this morning. 
This trail is completely in the forest on well mainted trails. We were happy to find more cone flowers in bloom.
