This morning we drove to Guadelupe Mountains National Park to do two short hikes. The first hike was the Smilt Spring Loop from the Frijoles Museum parking area. 2.5 miles with 400 ft of gain. Beautiful blue skies on a very windy and chilly morning. We saw less than 10 people on the trail this morning. We went counter clockwise, view near the beginning of the trail.
