Drove up to Hyak to hike up to Kendall Knob, 8 miles round trip with 1,800 ft gain. The route was well packed and I ended up carrying my snowshoes the entire time. Only saw 10 other hikers, very quiet morning. View near the beginning looking up stream at Coal Creek.

Views start about 2 miles up the closed road. Looking west towards Denny Mountain.

Lovely snow covered trees higher up

Another view of Denny Mountain from higher up the trail.

Getting closer to Kendall Peaks

Kendall Peaks near the turn off to the lakes (I stayed on the closed road to the end)

View at the Knob looking southeast towards Keechelus Lake

Rampart Ridge to the east
View to the west as I head back down the "road"

View to the south overlooking the ski area at Snoqualmie Pass seen further down
