For our second hike this morning in the Frijoles Canyon area of Bandelier National Monument, we hiked the Falls Trail to the Upper Frijoles Falls. This is 3 miles round trip with about 250 ft of loss/gain. We didn't see anyone else on this trail.

The trail descends down the lower part of Frijoles Canyon, we saw some summer wildflowers along the trail.

We could see the canyon walls through the trees.

An interesting rock formation right next to the trail, these might be rock tents.

More views of the canyon as we continue down the trail.

We are nearing the narrowest part of this trail.

View down canyon near the end of the trail.

View of Upper Frijoles Falls (with a small amount of water in it) at the end of the trail.

On our hike back up the trial, we noticed the tent like rock formations in several places.
