THREE HIKING SISTERS, we love to hike together, but we don't all live in the same state. Sometimes it is only two of us, and sometimes we hike with others. This is a record of some of our hikes.

Tinkham Tarns
We drove up to Windy Pass from Hyak on FR 9070 to hike south on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) to Tinkham Tarns, 5 miles round trip with about 1,000 ft of overall gain. This morning we had a beautiful hike through the forest in the fog.
We found ripe huckleberries to eat along the way.

We took the side trail to the boulder field below Tinkaham Tarns, hiking and scrambling up on the left side of the boulder field, photo as we neared the top of the boulder field
