Second Burroughs
Drove up to Sunrise to hike up to Second Burroughs. Made a loop hike with a spur to Second Burroughs by hiking up the Sunrise Rim Trail to Shadow Lake, then the Burroughs Mountain Trail to Second Burroughs and back down the Burroughs Trail to First Burroughs and to Frozen Lake, then hiking the Sourdough Ridge Trail back to Sunrise, about 6.25 miles with 1,250 ft of overall gain. Gorgeous views and lots of wildflowers in bloom.
