Tipsoo Lake Loop

This morning I drove up to Chinook Pass to do a couple of short hikes in the snow. First one was a 0.7 mile loop around Tipsoo Lake in Mt Rainier. I started at 8:30 and didn't see anyone else along the trail while I was there. Views of Tipsoo Lake and Mt Rainier from the side of highway 410 above the lake:

I started at the main parking area, which was so icy I wore micro spikes, and hiked clockwise around Tipsoo Lake, there was a well definded track over the trail in the snow. Yakima Peak
