Homolovi State Park
This afternoon we stopped at Homolovi State Park near Winslow Arizona and did three short hikes. First we did the Tsu 'Vo Loop Trail that went between two hill. There were interesting rocks and petroglyphs dating around 600AD
We then drove over to Homolovi II and viewed the ancient ruins, saw many ancient pottery shards and views of the distant Painted Desert to the north and the San Francisco Mountains to the west
We then drove to Homolovi I and viewed the ancient ruins, and saw lots of ancient pottery shards.
We saw several lizards and a small rattlesnake
We saw several donkeys wandering throughout the park
