THREE HIKING SISTERS, we love to hike together, but we don't all live in the same state. Sometimes it is only two of us, and sometimes we hike with others. This is a record of some of our hikes.

Clara and Marion Lakes
We drove to Mission Ridge Ski Area in Wenatchee to hike up to Marion and Clara Lakes in the snow to see the golden larches, 3.5 miles with 1,000 ft of overall gain. The trail starts in the Okanogan Wenatchee Nationa Forest and enters the Colockum Wildlife Area where the lakes are located.
The trail goes up through the forest, the snow was well packed down from previous hikers, along the way we saw some golden maple leaves.
