Greenwater Lakes
We drove to the Greenwater Lakes Trailhead off of FSR 7033 and hiked up to the two Greenwater Lakes in a lovely forrest with early wildflowers in bloom, about 5.5 miles round trip with 450 ft of overall gain.
The trail goes through a mixed deciduous and conifer forrest along the Greenwater River, some of the views along the way.

We had a lunch break here, then retuned down the trail, stopping to take the side trail to the camp at the other side of the lower Greenwater Lake, where we saw some mergansers
