Bell Trail

We drove up to the Long Canyon Trailhead in the Coconino National Forest to hike part way along the Bell Trail, which enters the Wet Beaver Wilderness. We hiked for 7 miles round trip with 560 ft of overall gain. Gorgeous area entering red rock country and saw over 100 hedgehog cactus blooms, along with some claret cups and other wildflowers, fabulous day!
Views along the trail, icluding a boulder with petroglyphs on it a mile up the trail.
We found a quiet spot along Wet Beaver Creek for our lunch break.
