We drove to Half Moon Lake near Pinedale WY to hike part way along the Half Moon Trail. We ended up going out abut a mile and then back on a morning of mixed rain and snow. The fall colors were pretty.

We had some views of the lake.

And some red colored leaves in a few spots.

It was a lovely trail for a short hike.

This is about where we decided to turn around.

Views of Half Moon Lake from below the trailhead, looking in the other direction from where the trail goes.
