We drove to the south end of Fremont Lake in Bridger-Teton National Forest near Pinedale Wyoming to walk around the CCC Ponds before an incoming storm this afternoon. The north half of the trail/ponds are in the National Forest and the south half are in BLM land. Our route was 1.8 miles.

After crossing a bridge and reaching the loop we went in a counterclockwise direction. First we went by the Duck Pond.
We then took a side trail to the dam at the end of the outlet of Fremont Lake.

Returning to the loop, the trail passed the Beaver Pond,

and continued along Duck Pond.

A short side trail led to Frog Pond.

We found some lovely fall colors on the Marsh Pond Trail.
The trail continued along Fish Pond, before completing the loop.
