Naches Peak Loop

We drove up to the Tipsoo Lake Trailhead at Chinook Pass to hike the Naches Peak Loop and on both sides of Tipsoo Lake, 4 miles with 600 ft of overall gain. about half of the loop is in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, entering the William O Douglas Wilderness and the other half is in Mount Rainier National Park. We walked part way up the road to meet a friend and took the trail down along the west side of Tipsoo Loop. The wildflowers were abundant and amazing, what a beautiful day!
