Three Rivers Petroglyph Site Trail

This morning we drove to the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site to hike the Three Rivers Petroglyph Trail (1 mile round trip). This site is north of Tularosa, New Mexico.
The Rangers encouraged us to go off trail in the rocks to look for petroglyphs. They reminded us not to touch the petroglyphs and not to move rocks because of the rattlesnakes.

This site lies between the Sacramento Mountains to the east, and

and the Tularosa Basin to the west.

The following photos are the petroglyphs we found on our hike today, I'm sure there are many more petroglyphs in the area.
