We drove to the Westberg Trailhead in the Wenas Wildlife Area to hike up via the Westberg Trail and down along the bicycle trails making a 7 mile loop with about 1,700 ft of gain. There was only a light dusting of snow along our route.

We followed the dirt road down about mile before taking the bicycle trails back down.
