Ingalls Creek Spring Hike

 We drove out north of Blewett Pass on Hwy 97 to hike along the Ingalls Creek Trail. This trail goes for 16 miles, in 14.5 miles you could reach Lake Ingalls. We did not hike that far, but had a pleasant hike going 12 miles round trip for today with 1,800 ft of elevation gain.




 Early on, we crossed by a large boulder field.



















The trail goes by Ingalls Creek for quite a distance.

We saw lots of wildflowers in bloom along the trail.


 This was my first time seeing Lady Slippers!














We also saw lots of butterflies, including these zebra swallowtails


 At 6 miles out, we found a nice boulder to sit on and ate our lunch before turning around.
