Hall of Mosses and the Spruch Trails
This afternoon we drove to the Hoh River Visitor Center at Olympic National Park to so a short hike in the Hoh Rain Forest. We combined the Hall of Mosses, the Mini Trail and the Spruce Trail for about 2.2 miles. This is a gorgeous area: lots of moss on trees, tall trees, ferns, water and more! Along the Spruce Trail, there is a short spur trail to the bank of the Hoh River. The trail also crosses Taft Creek (a spring fed creek) several times.

As we neared the end of the trail, a grouse walked right up to us, we kept back, here is a zoom photo
We saw some early wildflowers and some shelf fungus
