Bullhead Lake Hike Glacier National Park

We drove up to the Many Glacier Area of Glacier National Park for an easier hike. Our plan was to hike along the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail to Bullhead Lake. This is a 7.8 mile round trip hike with 250 ft of elevation gain.
The trail starts at the far end of the parking lot from the Swiftcurrent Inn, and goes through the woods. at 0.7 miles from the trailhead there is a short spur trail down to Fishercap Lake (we missed this turnoff and stopped at the lake on our way back).
A short ways down the trail, the views opened up and we could see the Garden Wall with glaciers in the far distance.
At 1.7 miles, the trail reaches Redrock Lake and across the lake, Redrock Falls.

We hiked past meadows of wildflowers.


















About 3.4 miles, there is a swinging footbridge to cross.
