Drove up early to Sunrise at Mt Rainier National Park to hike up to the 3 Burroughs and Mount Fremont Lookout, 12 miles with 2,500 ft overall elevation gain. I started up the Burroughs Loop Trail and saw Mt Rainier as it was lit up the rising sun. I only saw 5 other hikers on the way up to the 3 Burroughs, saw many more hikers on the way back.

This section of the trail through the forest is filled with wildflowers.

Lots of lupine and arnica.
